WORKFORCE INNOVATION FOR ECONOMIC MOBILITY

Project E.A.T.

A two year program funded by the Delta Regional Authority:

  • Earn - the project pays $10 per hour for transitional employment in a gourmet popcorn business.
  • Assistance - the project provides supportive services such as domestic violence support group, free mammogram, referrals for Workforce Innovation and Opportunities Act Eligibility and job placement assistance.
  • Training - the project pays the tuition to attend Southwest Tennessee Community College's Industry Certification in manufacturing.  Additionally, employability skills training is delivered.
